Our Founder
April Lewis
Founder & Executive Director, NAICB
With over 20 years of professional training experience and more than 100 industry certifications, April Lewis founded the National AI Certification Board to address the growing need for verified AI competency in both the public and private sectors.
April holds three associate degrees in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, and Psychology, bringing a uniquely multidisciplinary approach to AI education. She is an active Texas A&M University contract holder, delivering professional development training across the state.
Her vision for NAICB is rooted in the belief that AI literacy isn't optional — it's essential. Every professional, from government employees to healthcare workers to HR leaders, needs verified AI skills to thrive in the modern workforce.
